Letter From the High Alpha

Dear visitors,

I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Gamma Kappa Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha. Lambda Chi, founded in 1909, is the third largest fraternity in existence, and has initiated over 270,000 members worldwide. Here at the University of Missouri, we are a successful and well-established chapter of 95 studious and well-balanced men. Regularly placing in the top tier of Greek grade statistics and competing in Division I Greek athletics, we seek to achieve excellence in all we do. I invite you to visit the various links throughout our site and view the video from Homecoming 2009 below. If you are interested in recruitment, please fill out the rush form on this website. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Yours,

Keenan A. Patel

Current News & Upcoming Events

*This semester we are competing in Greek Week with the women of Zeta Tau Alpha. We look forward to a successful competition and will have pictures uploaded from the marriage party and other events soon. Last year, Greek Week at the University of Missouri raised more than $100,000 for local and national organizations that were in need of funding to keep their operations and programs running.

*Congratulations to brother Tim Noce, who was elected 2010 Student Body President.

*Congratulations are in order to brothers Alex Berry, John Bowen, and Graham Tinker, who have been selected as members of the 2010 Greek Week Steering Committee! This follows the selection of Aaron Finnegan and Kevin Holle as members of the 2009 Homecoming Steering Committee. Positions on both committees are sought after and we are very proud of all of our selections.

*Classes begin again on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
